- For rice
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cup water
- 1/2 tsp cumin seed
- 2 tsp ghee
Steps to make to make Kadhi Chawal
- For rice :- take bowl n wash rice properly and soak in water for 1 hr.if you don't have time add in little hot water for 1 hr.
- For pakora :- Take a bowl 4-5 tsp gram flour add salt,turmeric powder,chilli powder,garam masala. Mix all ingredients add water to make batter. make sure batter neither loose or nor tight. Mix for 2 min. Leave it for 7-8 min
- Take a large bowl add sour curd or buttermilk. Add 1/4 gram floor of total curd. Add water according to liquid. Mix properly to avoid lumps
- Take a pan n oil to fry pakora. fried pakora n don't overcrowded the pan
- After frying takes access oil remain 2-3 tsp of oil. Add coriander and methi seeds. When they start crackle add 1 red chilli and saute them together
- Add turmeric powder n mixed buttermilk or curd. Move it continues until first boil to avoid lumps
- Also add red chilli powder n salt as per taste. When kadhi start boiling low the flame for 15-20 min. After 5 min add pakora
- Take a pan add 2 tsp ghee n cumin seed after 2 min add soak rice and pinch salt mix together and cover the pan for 10- 15 min. When all water goes up add 1 tsp ghee n cover the pan
- Serve now kadhi chawal in lunch you can try with it pulkha n paratha
