  22. 1 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
  23. ¾ tsp coriander powder
  24. 1½ tsp biryani masala
  25. to taste salt
  26. 1 cup water
  27. ½ cup curd / yogurt
  28. as required fistful mint / pudina
  29. As required fistful coriander leaves, chopped
  30. ¼ cup fried onion

Steps to make to make Veg student biryani

  1. Firstly, in a vessel take water along with spices, salt, oil and basmati rice.cook the rice grains for approximately 10 minutes.further drain the rice and rinse with water.
  2. Firstly, in a large kadai take oil / ghee.further saute onions, ginger-garlic paste.add vegetables of your choice and saute.
  3. Furthermore, add turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder and salt.add water and curd. mix well.
    also add biryani masala.
  4. Add broccoli and tomatoes.
    furthermore, cover and cook for 15 minutes.now take a cup of masala stock and keep aside.
  5. Layer mint, cooked rice, reserved masala stock.
    also layer with mint, coriander leaves and fried onions.finally, cover and cook for 20 minutes and serve.
