- 2 tsp Coconut powder
- 1/2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 sliced onion
- 1 tsp Coriander seeds
- 2 red dry chilli
- 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp sugar
- For raita
- 1 cup curd
- 2-3 mint leaves
- few Coriander leaves
Steps to make to make Spinach veg pulavo with tomato gravy
- In grinder jar, add spinach, green chillies, mint leaves, dalchini, lavang, green elaichi and make a paste.
- In cooker, add ghee, oil, bay leaf, chopped carrot, beans, potato, add grinder paste, washed rice, water, salt as per taste, sugar pinch and garam masala powder 1/2 tsp. Mix well and keep cooker lid and once 3 whistles is done, switch off the flame.
- For tomato gravy, in pan add onion slice, 2 tomato chopped, Coriander seeds, red dry chilli and roast for 2-3 minutes in medium flame. Add this entire pan content in mixer jar and add cocount powder, ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp, salt, chilli powder and make a fine paste.
- Take another pan, add ghee, transfer the grinder tomato paste and let it cook untill it's thick or release oil on top.
- Toss grilled boiled egg, beetroot, capsicum with salt and black crushed pepper. For raita, take a small bowl and add curd, mint leaves, Coriander leaves and mix well.
- For plating, keep spinach rice cake and garnish with grilled boiled egg, capcisum, beetroot slice, fried onion and cashew. Pour tomato gravy around the spinach rice cake and serve with grilled egg, capsicum, beetroot and raita.
